New South Wales has declared a state of emergency in the continued buildup of the fires that have ravaged homes along with flora and fauna across the state. Our thoughts go out to those impacted. You may be looking at the stars on crimson night skies, yet the promise of a clear night sky will come soon enough. Also the thousands of emergency personnel risking their lives, the volunteers, donors and other organisations working behind the scenes. May you all be safe as can be tonight and days to come.
